Incline-Tahoe Foundation Volunteer Board of Directors

Board President and Acting Secretary - Dolores J Holets
Dolores Holets has 40 years marketing, sales, finance and management experience. Dolores began her career in marketing in 1974 with Miller Research Services, a division of Miller Publishing Company, as a Project Director. In 1979, she joined Custom Research Inc. and was directly responsible for building and managing the business-to-business telemarketing division of the company. For a notable list of customers, including 3M, DuPont, Johnson & Johnson, and American Express, Dolores was responsible for creating unique marketing programs, designed to penetrate specific target markets. In 1984, Dolores started her own business, Jordan & Associates, where she developed business plans, marketing programs, and conducted sales and marketing training for a diverse group of clients.

Over the last 28 years, Dolores has worked with her husband at Assured Management Insurance Services, Newport Health Plan, and Iaso Health. As the Executive Vice President & CFO, Dolores is responsible for the financial management of the corporations. As an adjunct instructor at Sierra Nevada College, she taught Business Writing and wrote grants for the college. She is a Chopra Center Certifications Vedic Educator, certified in Ayurveda, Primordial Sound Meditation, and The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, and is a member of the Chopra Certifications on-line teaching staff.

She and her husband, Dan, are full-time residents of Incline Village, having lived in the community for 22 years. She is a mother of two adult children, who attended school in Incline Village and were involved in numerous activities, and a grandmother to two young boys. Besides ITF, Dolores' volunteer activities have included the IES PTA, Jr. Boosters, Boosters, CYMBAL, Tahoe Hospice Thrift Stores, Diamond Peak Ski Education Foundation, Michael Bolton Charities Foundation, and numerous other organizations.


Founder and Treasurer - Shelia Leijon
Shelia is the Fitness, Health & Wellness Manager with the Incline Village Parks & Recreation Department, collaborating with key community partners to maximize the health & wellness of residents in Incline Village/Crystal Bay. Shelia is also credited with serving Incline Village/Crystal Bay through the creation of the award-winning Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) Senior Program during her tenure as Incline Village Parks & Recreation Supervisor-Seniors (2006-2013). During her time with IVGID, she secured and managed many local and county grants that provide alternative funding options for IVGID's programs and facilities. From 2001-2004 she gained valuable experience servicing area non-profits as the Operations Manager for the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation.

As a volunteer for over 25 years, Shelia's roles have included local involvement as the Incline Elementary School Jog-a-thon Chair (1998-2003) and Incline High School Boosters Club Vice President and President (2007-2009). She is the co-founder and a current board member of the Incline Tahoe Foundation working on community projects that focus on recreation, fitness and health & wellness in the Incline Village/Crystal Bay Community.

Shelia has been a board member of Red White & Tahoe Blue for the past nine years, facilitating the Veteran Events of the festival. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Tahoe – Incline and the Incline Village Crystal Bay Veterans Club. At the state and national level, Shelia has served as the Auction Chair for the Michael Bolton Charities Foundation, which supports the Attorney General's council in their efforts to protect women and children at risk. Internationally, she has served as a board member for Point of Hope, an organization promoting education in Nairobi, Kenya.

Shelia is married to Ken Leijon, a Firefighter/Paramedic/Engineer with the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District and is the mother of two adult children. She is an active member of Cornerstone Community Church, currently serving in the role of Worship Leader.


Member At Large - Aaron "Elko" James
Aaron "Elko" James spent his early years growing up outside of Elko, Nevada near the town of Lamoille. Elko graduated from Spring Creek High School in 1998 and moved to Lake Tahoe to attend Sierra Nevada College (SNC) to study Ski Resort Management. While attending SNC, Elko also served as the Assistant Coach of the award-winning Sierra Nevada College Eagle's Ski Team.

Elko, who earned the status of an Eagle Scout as a young adult, is an avid outdoorsman participating in biking, camping, fishing, hiking, and skiing. Currently, Elko is deeply involved with the Bike Pump Track project in Incline Village. Realizing that the Pump Track is something that many residents support Elko has taken this project on as a labor of love for his community and friends.

Elko has managed the Ski and Bike shop at Village Ski Loft since fall of 2000. Elko is married and has two girls ages 5 and 8.

Member At Large - Ethan Bollinger
Ethan Bolinger's focus with ITF is to grow and maintain a strong community that offers a wide variety of recreation options for residents and visitors alike, while maintaining the level of prestige that Incline Village/Crystal Bay is known for.

Ethan is an avid golfer, partaking in both traditional and disc golf. He was instrumental in the success of the ITF/Lions Club/IVGID Disc Golf Course Project, which was completed in 2011. During the summer months he enjoys all that Lake Tahoe has to offer, fishing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and mountain biking. Ethan does most of his hiking in the winter for backcountry skiing. When not in the backcountry you will most likely find him skiing at one of the areas local resorts.

Ethan is currently involved with maintaining and improving the Disc Golf Course. He is also active in the planning of the Bike Pump Track Project. He is honored to be involved with the vision of creating a memorial for our veterans and first responders. Ethan believes these projects will be great additions to our community.

Professionally, Ethan brings the perspective of self-employment to the ITF Board as the owner of Wild Alaskan Catering. He is married and has lived in Incline Village for over twelve years.


Member At Large - Jamie Golden
Member At Large - Krisiti Fisher
Jamie Golden and Kristi Fisher are two of the fortunate few who have had the privilege of growing up in beautiful Lake Tahoe. They graduated from Incline High School, and then both headed to San Diego State, where Jamie received a degree in marketing and Kristi graduated with a degree in economics. They joined their mother and father in the real estate business in 1992. Both are now raising families here and know first-hand the benefits of living in Incline Village.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Incline-Tahoe Foundation was created to enhance the overall well-being of the Incline Village and Crystal Bay Community’s public parks, recreation facilities, programs and services through private donations, grants and endowments.
