MISSION STATEMENT
The Incline-Tahoe Foundation was created to enhance the overall well-being of the Incline Village and Crystal Bay Community’s public parks, recreation facilities, programs and services through private donations, grants and endowments.

Projects

The current selection of Incline Tahoe Foundation projects is determined by Community interest and request. If you are passionate about preserving or renovating a different Incline Village/Crystal Bay Community Parks or Recreation public asset through a donor designated gift, please contact us.

Completed Projects

Construction of a Disc (Frisbee) Golf Course
will begin late summer of 2011, pending final approval by the IVGID Board of Trustees late July. The Disc Golf Course construction will be funded through private donations from community clubs, businesses and individuals. In July 2011, The North Lake Tahoe Lions Club donated $10,000 to partially fund the course. Remaining funding was raised through individual business and family hole sponsorships.

Renovation of Fitness Trail Station
began June of 2011. The Incline Village Fitness Trail (aka Exercourse) is an 18-station exercise course adjacent to the Village Green in need of renovation. Over half the stations depict outdated exercises and need to be replaced with modern fitness equipment. Many residents and visitors use the Fitness Trail course year-round. The course contains accessible walking, running, snowshoeing, biking & exercise trails and facilities. IVGID will start the process of renovating the course with NSP3 outdoor fitness equipment this summer. Through sponsorships and legacy giving, the Foundation is in the process of fundraising to aid in the course’s future renovation. One-year station sponsorships are available at $500. In addition to the one-year sponsorships, ITF is offering $10,000 lifetime endowment sponsorships for each station and a Fitness Trail Lifetime Legacy Course Naming opportunity in the amount of $100,000 to create an endowment fund to maintain and preserve the course for 99-years.

Renovation of the Tennis Center Building including covered courts will be funded through private donations from tennis advocates and sponsors. There is a grassroots movement of Incline Village/Crystal Bay Community Tennis players requesting the renovation of the IVGID Tennis Building to include indoor tennis courts. With the help of these advocates, the Incline-Tahoe Foundation, in conjunction with IVGID Tennis Professional Billy Knight will fundraise by offering Tennis events and securing project-designated donations.
