Incline Village/Crystal Bay Community

The Programming team creates memorable experiences. Most families have trick-or-treated on the Trail of Treats and Terror, snapped a photo with the Easter Bunny at the Eggstravaganza, or pondered “Who let the dogs out?” at Dog Days of Fall.

Recreation programming is an integral part of any community. The IVGID team strives to create programs that (1) promote the physical, emotional, and mental health of all, (2) support the economic vitality of Incline Village, (3) create a safe, vibrant, attractive community that holds a strong sense of place.

We want to keep these events free and accessible to the entire community which is why we are asking for your support.

Trail of Treats
Since 2001, Trail of Treats and Terror has been an Incline Village tradition. 2020 will be the 19th year of this event. The Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) collaborates with community partners to produce a haunted trail that community members can travel along at no cost. Trail of Treats traditionally takes place within venues around the town. Spooky games, contests, dancing, and photos are usually on the docket. This intergenerational event is extremely important to our community, as it is the only opportunity many of the kids in our town have to get dressed up and celebrate Halloween. Your contributions will go towards treats, safety lights, permitting fees, and other costs of the event. Event Details >
